A form conceived for a project involving a very large block of marble. While waiting for a decision I carved this small version.

A geologist told me that Polyphant is a volcanic rock made up of olivine, clynopyroxine, feldspar, apetite and quartz, and is not a 'soapstone' in spite of the similarities between them.
